A good pho restaurant in Forest City has a flavorful broth and tender, flavorful pork chops. Recommended to stop by if you are in the area and craving Vietnamese food.

One of our most revisited Vietnamese restaurant in San Mateo - Foster City. Staff if friendly and fast. When there are so many customers and they deliver my dishes slow, they apologized for making me wait. The ones serving us are usually middle aged uncles and aunties, so we never took it personal. The food is great. Pho tastes the most authentic compared to other restaurants in the area. Bun bo Hue lacks flavors, but the Grilled shrimps and pork chops over vermicelli is to die for. My favorite dish! Their Vietnamese coffee is also very authentic and popular. Every time we’re there, I could see one cup of coffee on most of the tables.

When I need warm comfort food, this is my go-to. That's usually during a tough work day and I need to get away from the office for some pho. I call ahead and it's ready when I arrive for pickup. They package it well so it won't leak, the noodle and veggies are separate from the broth, and it's piping hot. My favorite dish is vegetarian pho. The portion is huge so I usually eat half and save the rest for the next day. I love it!

FOOD 4.5 Ordered the Bun cha with pork and imperial rolls topped with crushed peanuts. Slivered cucumbers, bean sprouts and lettuce under the rice noodles. Nuoc Mam dipping sauce with shredded carrots served on the side. Plenty of pork brochettes and imperial rolls. Volume of food is significant, and I couldn’t finish it by myself. Very yummy. Friend ordered beef pho. Soup is aromatic with lots of star anise and clove. Thin noodles. Yummy SERVICE 3 Ordinary, friendly, nothing special. ATMOSPHERE 3 Ordinary, nothing special. Great place to take the family. OVERALL 4 I would eat there again for sure! Excellent food and good value.

Great tasting food, and nice, quick service. Place looks neat and welcoming. Dined in the first time and the staff were attentive, food had nice portions. Had take out the second time and food came out quick and traveled well.

No complaints about the atmosphere, but I’m hesitant to give 5-stars. It feels like we’re visiting a restaurant in a developing country which is maybe appropriate and even considered authentic… The noodles and broth were EXTREMELY salty, it overpowers all other flavors, could not finish because of the salt :(
